Let’s start at the beginning! “Love” – Wrap your mind around that! Not only is it overwhelming to grab hold of God’s incredible love for us, but to internalize it, to own it, to make it mine! To really know that “I matter to God” - oh sure - we all can acknowledge that, but when I really own it, this “love” so overwhelms me. Not only does it allow ‘my father’ into the deepest recesses of my heart, you know the place, that place where no one else gets too!
But it’s there where God is working in me, but also its there where God starts to work through me. Recognizing this invitation “to love as I am loved” to be the one that stands in the gap for others, to help them know that God absolutely loves them.
Why? “Because People Matter!”

Because People Matter is two fold..
One: Our "Volunteers" are "People" too, you matter to God and you matter to us!
Two: They Matter! The people who walk through our doors weekly, matter!
Because People Matter is two fold in purpose:
Teaming with Mark Waltz, the "Because People Matter Guru" this is an opportunity to:
One: BPM will be a unifying experience for our staff, volunteers & ministry teams!
BPM will also be a source of encouragement, fun, while connecting with God and others!
Two: BPM will also be an opportunity for "Like Minded Churches" who want to do the same, valuing and equipping their volunteers! Also through staff led"break-outs" there will be plenty of Q & A, networking and sharing of resources to help your teams.
Because People Matter is two fold in what we wanted to accomplish!
One: Because People Matter (BPM) will be a time to love on and affirm our Volunteers! Thanking Them! Reminding them that we can't do it with out them!BPM we will also be a time to invest into our volunteers as we continually improve reaching our community!
Two: We at Foothills want to be a resource for other churches; to give-a-way what has been given to us. Helping others as we have been helped, encouraging others as we have been encouraged, this is not only our heart but God's! (another two fold.)
